My name is StorageNerve also largely known by humans as Devang Panchigar. Have been in the storage / virtualization / compute industry for several years now. The StorageNerve blog started as an experiment to compile some technical storage and virtualization data. Some months into blogging, got an invite to write for Gestalt IT, an enterprise commentary mega blog on subjects around storage / virtualization and enterprise IT. Along with writing for both StorageNerve and GestaltIT, today I am a contributor on several storage and virtualization community sites. Also have been participating in various Standard bodies, technology conferences, shows and invite only technology briefing by vendors. This active participation also enables me to collaborate with storage and virtualization experts around the globe at various levels.

In my current role as the Chief Technology Officer at Computer Data Source, Inc (A managed services, hardware/software support/services, value added reseller and a professional services organization), I get face time with our customers to talk to them about various IT technologies and understand some challenges they have around managing their IT environments. Some current and past focus areas have been around pre and post sales support, technology implementations, technical support, client engagements, relationship management,  operations management and enterprise architecture. Some internal organizational responsibilities include managing IT operations, strategy as it relates to corporate initiatives, strategic marketing, partnerships, organic growth, development of new business venues and business transformation.

My past roles at CDS have been as Director of Storage and IT Operations, Director IT Support, Technical Support Manager, Network and Systems Analyst. Prior to that I have had a role as Sr. Systems Engineer at Telcordia Technologies.

Along with some industry recognized certifications I also hold a Bachelors of Science from South Gujarat University, India and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University.
